A millionaire luxury car owner wrecked his $750,000 Porsche Mirage GT supercar while speeding around the deserted streets of Manhattan while allegedly high on drugs. 
Benjamin Chen, 33, lost control of the ultra-rare super car at 7.30 am on Tuesday and plowed into a parked car.
Several stunned New Yorkers looked on as Chen tried to drive the car away despite heavy damage to the body and tires. 
Eventually police arrived and Chen was arrested and charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence of drugs. 
Chen is a wealthy luxury car enthusiasts and started the Gold Rush Rally - a luxury rally across America that is known for its accidents - and has filmed himself driving at 246mph in a Bugatti Veyron.

Footage of the accident yesterday shows the limited edition car speeding down the deserted streets of Manhattan before losing control and skidding into a white car around 7.30am on Tuesday. 
Chen hit at least five vehicles along 11th Avenue on the west side of Manhattan before eventually coming to a stop on 44th street, just north of the Javits Center.
The Javits Center has been transformed into a 2,500-bed field hospital for coronavirus patients at the epicentre of the country's pandemic.
NYC reported 806 deaths in just 24 hours, taking the total to 3,544, as it remains under strict lockdown to control the spread.
Pictures show the front of the Porsche smashed in after the crash, in which five other cars were also damaged. 
Chen founded the Gold Rush Rally, an annual multi-state race for supercar owners.
The event is know for having major accidents including when Chen himself destroyed a $230,000 McLaren 12C Spider in 2013. 
He flew off the road 'at a high rate of speed' but walked away with nothing but a ticket.
He was also reported calling $1.6 million Agera R supercar by Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg 'a hunk of s***,' Car Buzz reports.
A video posted on Instagram by trlrace and speedtimers shows the blue Porsche speeding away from the scene of the crash and running a red stop light. A piece of metal flies off the car. 
In another Instagram video, the police have pulled the wrecked Porsche over and are speaking to the driver.

New York City police said a rare supercar had crashed into several vehicles, according to a report by Fox News.    
Speeding in New York has increased by 12.3 per cent from January with speed cameras catching almost 181,000 drivers speeding between March 5 and March 24. 
With fewer vehicles on the streets, more cars are driving above the speed limit. 
Former city official Sam Swartz's firm estimated that traffic levels have fallen by 35-60 per cent.
