A New Jersey coronavirus patient who gave a fake name and address before disappearing has been located after a public plea from Newark Mayor Ras Baraka.

The woman, who tested positive on Saturday, had given false information to doctors at East Orange General Hospital.
When health officials went to the address she had provided, asking her to return to the hospital, they found that she did not live at the address she had provided.
Baraka had posted a video address seeking the woman on Tuesday afternoon.
“Because you gave a false name – because you gave a false address – you put yourself and many, many people at risk,” Newark Mayor Ras Baraka said in the video address. “Not only just in the City of Newark, but all of the surrounding cities in this state as well.”
The woman was located approximately two hours after his call for her to come forward.

NorthJersey.com reports that Newark had two presumed positive cases of coronavirus as of Monday. Essex County had 20 and New Jersey 178.
