As you all know, religion and politics don’t fly at theCHIVE. We leave that stuff for the talking heads on TV. But we’re all for some awesomeness, and that’s exactly what Walton, Kentucky Mayor Gabe Brown gave us in his profanity-laced Facebook rant that pulled no punches when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic and people who still aren’t taking self-isolation seriously.

After taking some heat for his language, Brown later doubled back and apologized for losing his cool, but he stood by his point, as he should. This is a global issue and we all need to be taking it very seriously.
