On Wednesday night President Donald Trump addressed the nation from the White House on the Coronavirus pandemic. 

President Trump announced a 30 day ban on flights from Europe.

There have been 37 deaths blamed on the coronavirus in the US.
There have been 1,636 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the US.
At least 23 of those deaths were at the Life Care Center in Kirkland, Washington.
The Life Care Center has gone from 120 residents down to 60 in the past month.

The current mortality rate in the US is 2.2%.
If you subtract the Life Center deaths the total goes down to .8%.

It is probably about or a bit less than 1%. Much higher figures have been flying about, but the chief medical officer, Chris Whitty, is one of those who believes it will prove to be 1% or lower.

At Life Care Center of Kirkland, the number of patients killed by coronavirus continues to grow. Of the 30 deaths in Washington, 23 are now linked to the nursing home, according to Public Health Seattle and King County, and Overlake Hospital…

…According to Life Care, since February 19th, 26 patients from the nursing home have died. The care center says they usually have between 3-7 deaths.

Not all of those patients were tested for coronavirus.
