The $2 trillion stimulus package will be the largest emergency aid package in US history. Here’s a breakdown of how much you could be getting: 2 Individuals who earn $75,000 or less a year will be eligible for the full $1,200 check. Reduced checks will go out to individuals making up to $99,000 a year (the payment amount falls by $5 for every $100 in income above $75,000). 3 Married couples are eligible for a $2,400 check as long as their adjusted gross income is $150,000 or less a year. Reduced checks will go out to married couples who earn up to $198,000 (using the same sliding scale described above). 4 Married couples will also receive an additional $500 for every child under 17. Single parents can make up to $112,500 a year and still receive the $1200 check, plus $500 for each child. Reduced checks (on the same sliding scale as above) are available for single parents earning up to $136,500 a year. 5
