Law enforcement officials in Jacksonville, Florida, said on Saturday that a man intentionally rammed his van into a tent of pro-Trump volunteers who were registering voters.
Several photos published by the Duval County GOP showed the tent and voter registration sight destroyed in the aftermath of the van. One of the photographs also seems to show the back of the van that was used in the attack.

It's being investigated as 'aggravated assault'
The Florida Times-Union reports:Several Duval County GOP volunteers were working at the registration tent when a white man in his early 20s driving an older — possibly 1980s — brown van pulled up toward the tent.Local police say they are taking the matter is being taken "very seriously."
He then drove through the tent, endangering the lives of the workers and damaging the tent and tables, Gayle said.
The driver then stopped, got out of the van and took a video of the scene before he "flipped off" the victims and fled, Gayle said.
"We are investigating this as an aggravated assault," Lt. Larry Gayle of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office told reporters at the scene. "Several people were in the area and could have been seriously hurt."
The volunteers were very "shaken up," Gayle added.
"We don't know what the suspect's motivation was, but we are just starting the investigation," he stated.
Trump responds
As the DailyWire's Ryan Saavedra noted, late Saturday afternoon, President Donald Trump responded to the news of the attack."Law Enforcement has been notified. Be careful tough guys who you play with!" the president said.

Republican Party Chair Ronna McDaniel said the attack will only serve to embolden the president's supporters come November.
"These unprovoked, senseless attacks on @realDonaldTrump's supporters need to end," she wrote on Twitter.
"I want to echo the @DuvalGOP in saying: We will not be silenced by cowards, and these disgusting acts will only make us work harder to win November," she said
