Billionaire Leon Cooperman started sobbing during a TV segment Monday as he suggested President Trump not run for president again.
'So if I was him, if I'm not prepared to change my behavior, I would take a victory lap and not run again,' Cooperman floated on CNBC. As he spoke the anchor could tell he was emotional and asked him why. 'I care. That's it,' the hedge fund manager said.
Cooperman, who made news when he tore into Sen. Elizabeth Warren using four-letter words, talked about how divisive Trump has been before encouraging him to bow out.

'Mitt Romney is not a jackass ... Rex Tillerson is not dumb as a rock ... John McCain was a true war hero,' Cooperman said reminding television audiences of some of Trump's top insults. 'He has to become a president for the entire country, and not just his base.'

Cooperman said if Trump's not willing to do that than he should just pack up.
The 76-year-old billionaire pointed to the similarities in Trump and President Ronald Reagan's policies, but suggested Reagan was much more popular because he could bury the hatchet and take a joke.
'We need a unifier,' Cooperman said. 'And we don't need Elizabeth Warren telling me I'm a deadbeat,' he added.
Cooperman got on Warren's radar when he talked to Politico for a story about how corporate America dreads her.
'I believe in a progressive income tax and the rich paying more,' Cooperman told Politico last month. 'But this is f***ing the American dream she is s***ting on.'
Warren shot back via Twitter, and then Cooperman sent her an open letter.
Cooperman knocked the liberal Democrat for her 'vilification of the rich' and said Warren has 'demonstrated a fundamental misunderstanding of who I am, what I stand for, and why I believe so many of your economic policy initiatives are misguided.'
On Monday he made a similar argument.
'The world is a substantially better place because of Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, David Rubenstein, Bernie Marcus and Ken Langone,' Cooperman said, listing the names of some of the world's most famous billionaires.
'This is idiocy. This is appealing to the lowest common denominator and basically trying to turn people's heads around by basically promising a lot of free stuff. That world doesn't exist,' he added.
He also quoted Thomas Sowell, a top economist: 'What is your fair share of what someone else has worked for?'
'I'm going to give it all away, so  she's picking on the wrong guy,' Cooperman said, before adding that Warren's 'wealth tax is crazy.'
