A Florida middle school is at the center of controversy after a teacher assigned a quiz to students that labeled President Donald Trump an "idiot."
What are the details?
The incident took place at Watson B. Duncan Middle School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, when an an unnamed middle school teacher assigned a multiple-choice quiz questioning the president's intelligence.
The question described a U.S. president as "[the] 45th Pres; 2017; Republican; Real Estate businessman; Idiot." Students were made to choose the corresponding correct answer out of choices such as "President Donald Trump," "Ronald Reagan," "Richard Nixon," and "Jimmy Carter."
Parent Cameron Cary expressed his disgust with the class on Twitter after his daughter sent him a photo of the quiz questions.
"This was an actual question on my daughters middle school test today," he wrote. "Furious. Going to raise some hell with the principle [sic]. Indoctrination will not continue. (See word 'idiot' at the end of our presidents multiple choice answer.) Not having it!"

What happened then?
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported that the school reassigned the teacher after Cary's post went viral and sparked an investigation.
In a statement, principal Phillips D'Amico apologized to parents.
"The question was inappropriate, and demonstrated an unacceptable lack of good judgment on the part of the teacher," he said.
D'Amico added that he is unable to divulge more information on the incident.
"Because this is an open inquiry, I am not at liberty to share any additional details with you at this point," D'Amico wrote. "I apologize for this incident, and for the offensive verbiage used in the question."
Teachers union President Justin Katz said that such behaviors are unacceptable.
"Political bias has no place in our classrooms and we trust [the school district] will act appropriately based on whatever the outcome of their investigation reveals."
