Republicans are fighting back after Diplomat William Taylor gave nine hours of testimony to the House that painted a picture of President Donald trump engaging in a quid pro quo.
But the fact that Democrats are only showing partial transcripts of what happened is frustrating Republicans who say his testimony was destroyed by Rep. John Ratcliffe in 90 seconds.
The first was Rep. Devin Nunes who appeared on the Fox News show “Hannity” on Tuesday and made the assertion.

NUNES: I was down there most of the day in this meeting with Ambassador Taylor and once again, it was the same thing because something makes up to “The Washington Post,” narratives are built.

I’ve defined it as watching a slow-motion crazy train that is going into impeachment fantasyland looking for the Loch Ness monster.
They get more and more upset with these witnesses, even though these are all supposed to be their witnesses.
Remember, they are not allowing us to have any witnesses. And as you mentioned today, this whole idea that now we have to have minders looking over us to review a transcript, that is unprecedented.
I mean, one of my concerns now is I want to make sure we preserve the actual audio recordings of these witnesses.
A similar sentiment was shared by Rep. Kevin McCarthy when he spoke to Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Tuesday.
“What they are doing, they are changing every we ever had. What happened in the Intel committee, even the members cannot read any information unless one of Adam Schiff’s own staffers are in the room next to them,” he said.
“We are wondering who that anonymous person is, I bet it’s Adam Schiff — remember how we made up the transcript of what he wanted the phone call to say?
“They go out to the press and say Taylor is terrible and Adam Schiff won’t let us talk about what happened, in 90 seconds, we have John Radcliffe destroy his whole argument.
“We are finding just his questioning refuted everything of what Adam Schiff leaves out there, there is no quid pro quo and the one thing you find out in this process is all this information is just like that whistle-blower, we haven’t seen that whistle-blower anywhere. Second, third, fourth and information,” he said.
