Booker and Harris nailed by the PC police over black pastor's statements

The presidential campaigns of Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Cory Booker (D-N.J.) are in hot water over resurfaced comments against the LGBTQ community by a black pastor they were courting.
Rev. Robert E. Fowler Sr. has said that homosexuality is a sin, and compared it to other sins that would send people to hell.
"We believe that everyone is to be restored to God," he said to NPR in 2013.
"So whether you commit adultery, whether you commit fornication, whether you're a child molester, you gossip, you lie, you cheat on your taxes, you don't pay your tithes, things of that nature. All of that is wrapped together as sin, along with homosexuality," he added.
Fowler leads the Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Las Vegas, which is one of the largest black churches in Nevada.
Harris' campaign said she was not aware of his past statements when she visited his church.
"Senator Harris' support and advocacy for LGBTQ equality has been unwavering throughout her career and will continue when elected President," a spokeswoman for Harris said. "She will continue to visit houses of worship across the country to address congregants about the pressing issues we face as a nation."
Booker's campaign was more direct about distancing him from the pastor.
"Cory does not share these views," Booker's national press secretary, Sabrina Singh, said.
"Throughout his career, Cory has been a consistent fighter for the rights of LGBTQ people and even refused to officiate weddings as Newark mayor until same-sex couples were granted the same rights as everyone," she added. "He'll keep fighting to end discrimination as president."
Harris dropped in support to fourth place after a second pair of debates, while Booker continues to flounder with barely 2 percent of support.
