‘Not Salvageable’: Trump Rips into Biden, Calls Him a ‘Reclamation Project’

As the 2020 election season begins to heat up, President Donald Trump is looking to make quick work of Democratic front-runner Joe Biden before the nearly 50-year politician even gets going.
Trump called out the former vice president in a blistering tweet Saturday morning that slammed Biden’s lackluster governance during the Obama administration and referred to him as a “reclamation project” who is “not salvageable.”
“Joe Biden is a reclamation project. Some things are just not salvageable. China and other countries that ripped us off for years are begging for him,” Trump tweeted.
“He deserted our military, our law enforcement and our healthcare. Added more debt than all other Presidents combined. Won’t win!”

As The Hill noted, the attack comes on the heels of a back-and-forth between Biden and Trump.
Biden told CNN in an interview that aired Friday that Trump was like “the bully [that] used to make fun when I was a kid that I stutter, and I’d smack them in the mouth.”
Trump quickly clapped back when he was asked about the former vice president’s comment, ultimately saying he’s not a bully.

The president pointed out that he hasn’t allowed countries to take advantage of America like Biden did on many occasions under the Obama administration.
“I don’t think I’m a bully at all. I just don’t like being taken advantage of by other countries, by pharmaceutical companies, by all of the people that have taken advantage of this country,” Trump said.
“I call it the Obama-Biden mess,” he added.

With Biden being attacked from all sides — from both Republicans and the Democrats who are challenging him for the 2020 nomination — it’s only a matter of time before his base sees the writing on the wall and rallies to the more left-leaning candidates.
As Trump said, Biden is definitely “not salvageable.”
After all, the current Democratic primary is a battle between the old guard and the new, progressive blood — the establishment liberals vs. the socialist progressives.
Blood will continue to be shed in future debates, and if they’re anything like what we saw in round one, it’s not going to be pretty for “Uncle Joe.”
The Democratic establishment, which Biden is a part of, will desperately try to retain power, similar to how the Democratic National Committee allegedly helped Hillary Clinton secure the party’s nomination in 2016 over socialist outsider Bernie Sanders.
Taking down a political giant like Biden is the primary mission of challengers like Sanders, as well as Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Kamala Harris of California and Cory Booker of New Jersey.
If they can remove the 76-year-old from his front-runner position, their most immediate goal will be accomplished.
Those far-left progressives are already getting uncomfortably close. And Biden knows it.
In the aftermath of the first Democratic presidential debate, Harris got a huge boost in the polls, jumping 13 points to 20 percent support, according to a national survey conducted by Quinnipiac.
Biden toppled from 30 percent down to 22 percent support in that poll.
Unlike the current commander in chief, Biden cannot withstand extreme political pressure from all sides, and the polls have clearly shown that.
Voters on the left are making it apparent that Biden isn’t the guaranteed ticket he (and political analysts) thought he was just a few short months ago.
I mean, let’s be honest — he can’t even land the endorsement of his former boss, Barack Obama.
That’s saying something, as Obama probably should have been one of the first backers he had going into the race.
Though the election is getting closer, we’re still at the point where anything can happen.
But the way it’s looking for Biden early on, he’s going to have a lot of work to do.
Pandering to minorities, bashing Trump and claiming he’ll cure cancer if he’s elected isn’t going to cut it this time around.
Though they can’t stand Trump, the left saw what Republican voters did to their own establishment in 2016, which ended up working out very well for America.
Make no mistake about it — progressives are looking to mimic what conservatives did.

Essentially, they want fresh blood. And age jokes aside, Biden is anything but fresh.
