Rachel Maddow’s ratings SINK after Mueller report exonerates Donald Trump on Russian collusion

It would seem that the end of the Russia investigation is bad news for MSNBC
This is just so, so funny:

Within MSNBC, there’s an acknowledgement that the Trump-Russia narrative on which the cable network—and especially its primetime star Maddow—built monster ratings has fizzled for the moment.
Insiders also claim not to be surprised that the conclusion of the long-awaited Mueller report—or at least the Trump-appointed attorney general’s summary—was a whimper, not a bang for an outlet that has invested so much time and energy, in primetime and throughout its dayparts, in the notion that Trump is unworthy of the Oval Office and might at some point be forced to give it up.
And on that note, this means that they “needed wild speculation and hysterics to keep ratings up”:
So, did MSNBC delude themselves or did they feed the narrative for $$$?

The press either genuinely deluded themselves into believing the collusion narrative or they cynically fed those hopes for ratings and clicks. I don't know which is worse.

  1. Can you read? The report states that it does not exonerate Trump in any way.

The summary from Trump's hand -picked Attorney General has Trump's supporters thinking that they won the battle, but in the end we will win the war.

Here's a list of the VERY active investigations throughout the United States that are targeting Trump and his criminal family and friends, that we know of, so far:

    Southern District of New York
    Eastern District of New York
    Eastern District of Virginia
    United States District of Columbia
    NYC District Attorney's Office *
    New York Attorney General *
    New Jersey Attorney General *
    Maryland Attorney General *
    DC Attorney General *
    FBI
    CIA
House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
    Senate Select Committee on Intelligence
    House Judiciary Committee
    House Oversight Committee
    House Financial Services Committee
    House Ways and Means Committee
    * President has no authority to pardon for state crimes

  2. She's a professional paid propagandist, she's not going anywhere.

Do you really think this person make 30 million dollars a year selling deodorant and tampons during commercial breaks? She's paid to lie to the population.

She spent 2 years convincing a significant portion of the population that Trump was a "Russian puppet", she's proved her worth. She's been able to do this longer than anybody else, she's not going to lose her job being a propagandist people - she's just going to produce new propaganda. She's an effective liar and that's what she's paid to do.
