Conservative billboards in Times Square blast Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over ‘Green Raw Deal’: Americans are the boss

A pair of billboards have appeared in Times Square, directly knocking New York's own freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her Green New Deal.

What are the details?

According to a Tuesday Reuters report, a conservative firm is behind both billboards, which poke fun at Ocasio-Cortez's recent remarks that she's "the boss."
Ocasio-Cortez made the comments during a February town hall event in response to criticism generated by her environmental proposal, which she has titled the Green New Deal.

"You know what? I don't care anymore. I don't care anymore, because again, I'm at least trying, and they're not," Ocasio-Cortez said. "So the power is in the person who's trying, regardless of the success. If you're trying, you've got all the power, you're driving the agenda, you're doing all this stuff.

"Like, I just introduced Green New Deal two weeks ago and it's created creating all of this conversation. Why? Because no one else has even tried," she said. "So people are like 'Oh it's unrealistic,' 'Oh it's vague,' 'Oh it doesn't address this little, minute thing.' And I'm like 'You try, you do it.'

"So until you do it, I'm the boss!" the congresswoman declared. "How about that?!"
The billboards read, "Hey AOC, you're the 'boss?'" and "We don't think so. The American people are the boss."

The billboards also publicize a website called TheGreenRawDeal.com.

The same conservative firm — a pro-business group founded by former Home Depot CEO Bernard Marcus — previously targeted Ocasio-Cortez with another billboard over her opposition to Amazon bringing its headquarters to New York City.
Amazon ultimately pulled out of planting a headquarters in the city due to lawmakers voicing their disapproval at the newly proposed site.

Ocasio-Cortez called the company's pull out a big victory.

  1. Amazing OAC hasn't been taken down yet, especially since she is solely responsible for NY City/State losing billions$$$ and 25K good paying jobs!!! Her shallow mind was more focused on gentrification of the neighborhood, etc., but never with uplifting poor to show how they can get well paying jobs and move out of poverty...but she'd no longer have victims!!!

Somebody is pulling her strings and they haven't finished using her yet! Stay tuned....
